Russian inflationary expectations fall 0.6 pp to 7.9% in May-ñbank
MOSCOW, Jun 29 (PRIME) -- Russia’s inflationary expectations decreased by 0.6 percentage points on the month to 7.9% in May, as seen by PRIME in central bank’s data on Wednesday.
Expectations fell to a record low since the end of 2014, but are still too high, the central bank said.
“It provides a strong argument in favor of maintaining a monetary tight monetary policy,” experts said.
